Our Management Team
Gary began working in the Online Marketing world in May of 1997 for a small web hosting and Domain Name Registration Company.. Within a matter of a couple years, the company was the worlds' largest domain registrar and web hosting provider. Gary was fortunate enough to participate in the negotiations and manage some of the first paid deals with the primary search companies including a strategic partnership with AOL, Google and Yahoo! It was during this time where Gary learned of the "up and coming" world of Search Marketing and of the many intricacies involved when leveraging a website within the primary search engines. It was then that he decided to entrench himself in the education of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. With a strong background of Online Analytics, Statistical Analysis and Biology, Gary is able to understand certain nuances when it comes to the effectiveness of a website and the many levels within. He has brought these 2 very different strengths together and created a formula that works within both lead generation and e-commerce web environments. In 2003, Gary formed his first start up partnership, Go Traffic Interactive - a Web Marketing agency that focuses on Search Engine Optimization and Usability Best Practices in relation to website design and development. His diverse background allows him to understand many different market segments and because of this, he's able to work well with several different types of clients; from hospitality to commercial/industrial Gary is able to apply his practical life experience and education to create successful strategies for GTI Clients.
My management style can be described as inclusive and Socratic, from years of experience in small business development. I have a varied skill-set that includes accounting and business systems development, project management, interactive SEO marketing and copywriting, and also design and development competencies. Plus I am an avid blogger. This business is exciting, enriching, and often challenging. I tend to step back and look at the over-all picture, get feedback from team members and sometimes from outside professionals, combining this feedback with intense energy, bringing about quick and sustainable changes. Whether working with 3 people or a team of 30 and up, management dynamics are pretty much the same for me: to create a fun working environment, provide excellent customer service, and see to the profitability of the business. I like people and truly enjoying working with clients from the very beginning of their projects, on through to growing friendships. I am one among many women who went back to college to finish a degree, after children were grown. My degree advanced proficiencies, in multi-media digital art relative to the Internet.

Rob started out programming a TRS-80 micro computer from Radio Shack, circa 1980. He missed out on the punch cards, but still went through the “save your programs and data on a cassette tape” phase. He still remembers when he first saw a hard drive, "it was a big boxy thing and only held 5 MB of data."
